,(unless this is on my own talk page) otherwise I may not see your reply) 08:49, 23 June 2016 (UTC)Resubmission of Park City Mining District
[edit]You removed the AFC decline notice from Draft: Park City Mining District and resubmitted it without other changes, without waiting for a reply from the editors at the Teahouse. AFC declines and comments contain a note that says that they should not be removed. They are left in place until the article is accepted, and are then removed by the acceptance script. Maybe you didn't know not to remove them. Now you do know. Do not remove them. Also, do not resubmit drafts after they have been declined without making the requested changes or discussing with the reviewer or other editors. Merely resubmitting a draft is tendentious and gives the impression that you are gambling to see if you get an easier reviewer on the next attempt. Consider this to be a level 2 caution not to resubmit drafts without either addressing the comments or at least discussing. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:52, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
If you want to add anything to my talk page, add it at the bottom in the usual way, not at the top. The Teahouse is peculiar in top-posting. However, it is a reasonable place to discuss your article, rather than just pushing it. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:52, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
@RobertMcClenon. I am sorry for any confusion. This is my first go with Wikipedia, and was not completely sure about the procedures. I also did make some minor changes between the first and second submissions but was unaware of the rules with the AFC decline notice. I saw the other editors comments on the teahouse however and was wondering about your thoughts. Please let me know. DanielVGarcia (talk) 03:06, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
