Disambiguation link notification for January 7
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Monroe County, New York, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brighton, New York (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Prod notice
The article UISA has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- none of these definitions links to an article - so why does this article exist? In essence, "UISA" appears to lack any notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Rklawton (talk) 01:56, 27 January 2013 (UTC)

re Recreation of Dan Stec
Back in 2010, Dan Stec was deleted as a result of an WP:AfD (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dan Stec). Fast forward three years and the article's subject has been elected to the New York State Assembly, where his is one of the few WP:REDLINKs to be filled in. Given that the subject of the article now meets WP:POLITICIAN criterion #1, would you restore it? -- DanielPenfield (talk) 15:32, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- I'll respectfully defer to admins about what to do about that. Suggest you post with a request to WP:AN. — Cirt (talk) 18:21, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- In case you've not already noticed, the content was restored. I've also left you a note at WP:AN regarding process. Nyttend (talk) 05:05, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

Recent Changes to Industrial-software related posts
Hi Daniel. Thank you for your contributions and edits to Wikipedia. I understand that the crowd-sourced nature of the site requires vigilance. I've made several edits to the Quality costs page as well as others that you've deleted. As I'm familiar with the nofollow status of Wikipedia's links, these edits were not made with any promotional or link-building intentions, rather to advance the value of the existing entry. We are a third-party, non-biased, objective research company just like Gartner, Forrester, or others, all of which are constantly referenced on Wikipedia. For the discussion on quality costs, I genuinely feel that it benefited from clarification on the costs of good quality versus the costs of poor quality, as well as the fact that the equation has been used in a variety of forms. If you still deem it necessary to leave out the reference of our well-researched report, then feel free to do so. But I think the clarification should be there nonetheless.
