[edit]Hello, I'm Newslinger. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Simon Stringer, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Newslinger talk 13:47, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you.--VVikingTalkEdits 13:51, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion
[edit]Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. VVikingTalkEdits 14:15, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
I have been asked by Dr Stringer to perform some minor updates on this Wikipedia page. All my changes were backed up and I was never disruptive. Please review this situation to confirm what I am saying, and please unblock my account. DanielMNavarro (talk) 16:41, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
Decline reason:
In that case, you've been violating WP:COI. Yamla (talk) 17:54, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
All my edits were publicly available and relevant information that only helps Wikipedia to have better content. Can we please move on from this? :) DanielMNavarro (talk) 20:03, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Not until you address your violation of WP:COI and tell what other subjects you want to edit about, as I doubt you will be allowed to continue to edit about Dr. Stringer, at least directly. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 22:07, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

Could you please delete my account?— Preceding unsigned comment added by DanielMNavarro (talk • contribs)
- For technical and legal reasons, it is not possible to delete an account. If you no longer wish to edit Wikipedia, just abandon your account. If you change your mind later, you will still need to get unblocked first, as the block is on you as an individual, not just your account. 331dot (talk) 09:52, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
I have previously addressed what you asked, and I don't and won't edit anything anymore. I just want to have my account (personal name and my personal email address) deleted from Wikipedia. Let me know what I should do to be freed from Wikipedia.— Preceding unsigned comment added by DanielMNavarro (talk • contribs)
- I will say again, it is not possible to delete an account, for both technical and legal reasons. Your email address is not visible to the public, but you can remove it from your Preferences yourself. As for your username, you elected to use your own name as your username. As you are blocked, changing it is not possible. If you have further comment, please edit the entire page and not just the top section, or edit the bottom section (this section). 331dot (talk) 14:26, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
The file File:Dr Simon Stringer's Signature Wikipedia.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused, superseded by File:Dr Simon Stringer signature.png.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 06:00, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
