Welcome!
Hello, DanOren, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia

- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}}
before the question. Again, welcome!
Yatir Forest
[edit]Hi Dan Oren! I have reverted your edits to Yatir Forest because the edit broke the formatting of the page (missing ref). If you do have a ref, please re-add it along with the content! Cheers, Ynhockey (Talk) 06:59, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
- Hi again! The ref formatting you posted on my user page will work, although you should try to use the {{cite web}} template with the url, title and accessdate fields (and any additional fields you can add), for example:
- <ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.hava.co.il/hava1/farms/FarmViewer.aspx?farmName=noam|title=Medical Herbs - Noam and Gali|accessdate=2009-01-09}} {{he icon}}</ref>
- Please note that Wikipedia has certain policies about editing articles you're personally close to, notably conflict of interest. Basically, there's no problem with editing an article related to you directly, but it should be done in an encyclopedic style, adhering to the neutral point of view policy, one of the most important policies on Wikipedia.
- On a side note, thanks for the invitation to visit! I live in Petah Tikva now and have never been to the Yatir area during all my time in Arad, unfortunately, but this may change in the future.
