Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Curaspan Health Group, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Curaspan Health Group and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mean as custard (talk) 14:21, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re your message: I see that you have a new account. You should only use one account per Wikipedia policy. Please see the comments that I left you regarding the article as it still applies. The reason for the deletion of the article is that it had an advertising tone. Your use of marketing phrases such as "Curaspan is positioned to be one of the innovative success stories in health care." in your message to me and copying the entire Curaspan summary paragraph for press releases into the article was what got the article deleted. Please see the Wikipedia Business' FAQ on what you should and should not do regarding writing an article for the company that you work for. You have a conflict of interest so you need to be careful in what you write. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 15:35, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, but I can't remove the deletion log entries. Such entries are a normal feature of Wikipedia. There are certain cases where the suppression of the deletion log may occur, but that is only within strict limits such as defamatory material, to protect privacy, or copyright issues. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 16:02, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gogo Dodo - thanks for your quick response. While I recognize you can't remove the deletion log, is there a way to completely delete this page from showing up in search results? Even if I have to start again from scratch, that would be better than having this page accessible in its current state. In regard to your earlier comment, I created a new account because I couldn't figure out how to work on my previous article. I did't realize this was a violation of wikipedia. My apologies. Thanks. Dan

No, there's no way to do as you asked. Eventually Google will notice that the article has been deleted and no longer index it, though nobody has any control over when that will happen. Or you could write a replacement article and Google will pick up that revision. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 16:23, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
