License tagging for Image:P25LftSide.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:P25LftSide.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:08, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
AfD Nomination: List of Rainbow Six: Vegas Weapons
An editor has nominated the article List of Rainbow Six: Vegas Weapons for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Rainbow Six: Vegas Weapons. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article List of Rainbow Six: Vegas Weapons during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. Regarding edits made to Raven Arms MP-25
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, DanMP5! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule hometown\.aol\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 20:54, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- The removal wasn't aimed at the website, it was aimed at AOL Hometown. Honestly, I can't really tell how the site is relevant to the article besides the fact that it's about the same gun, perhaps you could elaborate? Shadow1 (talk) 12:18, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 19:51, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
No Problem
Actually, I was monitoring the recent changes area and saw the attack almost immediately. However, I waited to see if you were monitoring Wikipedia so could take some firsthand action. Next time, I promised to move a little faster.
Anyhow, I'm 100% sure that you would have done the same thing for the undersigned Wikipedian.

Honestly, I was going to ask you if I could borrow/steal/take your HTML codes for my USER page.

Rainbow Six: Vegas Secrets section
What part of the 'secrets' section is against the WP:NOT? If it's something i can change i will, but looking around the net, this secret is described in little detail. It's hard to describe without mentioning the 'axe' product, what should i do? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Paper aeroplane (talk • contribs) 10:22, 15 April 2007 (UTC).
P22
Why? That person who is removing it hasn't given a valid reason for removal and has been trolling several articles making a nuicance of himself. Alyeska 18:29, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
No, it is not. More to the point, those arguing against it are using false reasoning and ignoring the realities. Notability and media coverage is extensive. Alyeska 18:41, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Walther P22 dispute
An article which you have edited, Talk:Walther P22#Request for Comment: Walther P22 – is involved in a dispute requiring inputs from editors to develop a consensus for editors to follow on whether or not mention of the Virginia Tech Massacre should be mentioned in the firearm article, or if mention in the VT Massacre article of the firearms used, with a link back to the Walther P22 article, is adequate. Thank you. Yaf 22:14, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
You may want to have a look in on Talk:Walther P22 again. Griot has canvassed only those users who want to keep the VT mention in the article, so I am alerting those who were not yet contacted. There has been discussion on WP:ANI about the outcome of the previous polls. Your continued involvement in the discussion(s) would be welcomed. ··coelacan 22:11, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Glock 19
Consensus on the article's talk page seems to be strongly against including a reference to the VT shootings. I still oppose having a "see also" link. PubliusFL 15:36, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- You may be right (about the link just being reinserted), but I don't see any value in establishing a consensus and then letting a small handful of editors ignore it. See my latest comment on Talk:Glock 19, as I've reached my 3 revert limit. PubliusFL 16:55, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
FYI, I do clearly not regard the fact that infamous terrorist group Red Army Faction used the MP5 in its insignia as "trivia" by any measure. I reverted and kindly ask you to take it to the talk page instead of simply declaring encyclopedically relevant (aside from interesting and well-documented) facts to be negligible as trivia. —AldeBaer 08:52, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Infobox Drive for the Firearms Wikiproject
Hello DanMP5. The Firearms Wikiproject is having an infobox drive. The purpose of this is to ensure that most (if not all) of the articles within our scope have the relevant infoboxes. The start date will be May 28th. If you choose to participate, go to our project page and pick an article under the To-do list's Infobox section or look for firearm articles that need an infobox. Before you start editing an article, please cross it out on the list so that we don't have editor's work clashing. The drive will last for five days. If you are interested, please RSVP to LWF. Thank you, the Firearms Wikiproject. --Seed 2.0 09:13, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
