ClueBot 3 down?

CBIII isn't run every day, so this is normal. Archive bots run on set times and not constantly, to save load on the servers. K6ka (talk | contribs) 12:42, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

CBNG on an unintended WikiBreak

So I turned on the radio, got on Huggle, and started reverting vandalism. I was wondering why I was fighting it alone when I realized that CBNG's comforting shadow was gone. I do wonder when WMF Labs will stop breaking the bot. K6ka (talk | contribs) 01:36, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

Well, the ClueBot NG queue in STiki is working - I am receiving edits that were recently made. Seems like since the bot can't revert any of the edits it catches, it dumps it all in its IRC channel. K6ka (talk | contribs) 01:43, 6 March 2014 (UTC)

Indeed - the bot is running happily, but can't make any edits - cluebot3 also can't. Unrelated to the recent migration (also occurs in pmtpa on testing) or anything else, raised a bug @ https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62288 and hoping for some insight. ClueBot III is malfunctioning

ClueBot III does not appear to be making any archiving edits. It is making an edit to its source code with the edit summary "Automated source upload" every 2 minutes see: Special:Contributions/ClueBot III. This has been done at least 500 times over more than the last 24 hours. It may have something to do with Wikipedia:AN#Possible_bot_malfunctioning.3F. Rich is also being alerted, and a note placed on User talk:ClueBot Commons/Archives/2014/March#ClueBot III is malfunctioning for the other talk page stalkers. — Makyen (talk) 19:57, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

cluebot

The 4 names of people who did cluebot listed above you are no longer editing wikipedia, at least not for more than a month and, in some cases, years.

The cluebot has an error. It leaves messages on people's talk page and a link to report malfunctions. The link is dead.
