Hello, Dalton Tan, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like this place and decide to stay.

Why can't I edit some particular pages?
Some pages that have been vandalized repeatedly are semi-protected, meaning that editing by new or unregistered users is prohibited through technical measures. If you have an account that is four days old and has made at least 10 edits, then you can bypass semi-protection and edit any semi-protected page. Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. If this is not the case, you may have been blocked or your IP address caught up in a range block.
Where can I experiment with editing Wikipedia?
How do I create an article?
See how to create your first article, then use the Article Wizard to create one, and add references to the article as explained below.
How do I create citations?
  1. Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
  2. Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
  3. In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
  4. Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
  5. Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like <ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing).
  6. In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
  7. If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References==
{{Reflist}}
What is a WikiProject, and how do I join one?
A WikiProject is a group of editors that are interested in improving the coverage of certain topics on Wikipedia. (See this page for a complete list of WikiProjects.) If you would like to help, add your username to the list that is on the bottom of the WikiProject page.

Toyoko line

[edit]

Regarding your recent edit on Toyoko line, I beg explanation of adding Tamagawa to Commuter Express calling stop. AFAIC this is not true according to the official route diagran.[1] Where is your source of that? -- Sameboat - 同舟 (talk · contri.) 00:48, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm SG5536B. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SG5536B (my talk page | my contribs) 09:40, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you. SG5536B (my talk page | my contribs) 09:25, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Tōkaidō Main Line. XtraJovial (talkcontribs) 22:17, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop introducing wrong stopping patterns for train services

[edit]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at San'yō Shinkansen, you may be blocked from editing. ~ SG5536B (talkpage | contribs) 01:27, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Note that you've also made similar edits on Odoriko. Information on Wikipedia needs to be backed by reliable sources, otherwise it will be reverted. Please make sure to add sources for any future changes to train service patterns. — Parent5446 (msg email) 02:12, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit revert

[edit]

Hello. I have reverted the edits you made in Hankyu Kobe Main Line because we judged them to be misinformation. To be precise, the Limited express passes through Tsukaguchi. Therefore, I changed ● to |.
The source is here.https://www.hankyu.co.jp/global/common/pdf/traffic/routemap/kobe/routemap.pdf --H.K.pauw (talk) 12:23, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You've listed misinformation several times, and as others have said, users who do so will be blocked. Please be aware of this. H.K.pauw (talk) 08:55, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@H.K.pauw Can you start the block proceedings? He's done a ton of edits that I keep having to revert to other pages? Ergzay (talk) 00:28, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think it would be better to ask the person himself in wikimail first. If the behavior still does not fix, it is better to take measures such as having an administrator deal with it. H.K.pauw (talk) 06:25, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Dalton Tan: Your edits are being discussed at Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous)/Archive 78#Should this be reported to the Administrator's Noticeboard?. Johnuniq (talk) 10:16, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Johnuniq: The result of the discussion was decided to be reported to the WP:ANI. H.K.pauw (talk) 11:44, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:53, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
