Talk pages
[edit]Just curious... is there some reason why you refuse to communicate with anyone, on any talkpage? You've shown you are capable of reading and writing fluently in English, as seen on your "bio page", so why is it you never respond to any posts or try to engage with any other editors here? You do realize that this is a collaborative project, right? And while you not expected to address any particular post at this time (that I'm aware of. who knows? maybe you are...) at some point you may very well be expected to reply to a concern that has been addressed to you. You should know that in such similar instances as that, people who refuse to communicate and have a history of never communicating, have been blocked from editing. Don't worry, I'm not saying that is about to happen to you now (that I know of), but what I am saying is that you should make an effort to interact more on talk pages. You could even start by posting a reply here, instead of just blanking the page, as usual. Give it a try. - theWOLFchild 22:28, 7 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I appreciate your curiosity. In all honesty I don't really talk to often. You could say I'm a "soloist" because I choose to go at it alone. I do try to correct my errors that I'm made aware of, I simply blank the page to make it less cluttered. – Dallas S12345 10:26 PM, 7 August 2018
- He speaks! Good to know. Nothing wrong with being shy and mostly keeping to yourself, but even a brief comment every once in awhile can go a long way to help letting people know you understand, or even appreciate what they're saying to you. Thanks for the reply. - theWOLFchild 03:45, 8 August 2018 (UTC)

USS Nipmuc (ATF-157) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, USS Nipmuc (ATF-157), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Gpkp (u • t • c) 16:59, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Hello, I'm Woodlot. I noticed that you recently removed content from Sotoyomo-class tugboat without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Your good-faith edit removed all of the references, which is unacceptable. Thanks. Woodlot (talk) 12:40, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 27
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited PCE-842-class patrol craft, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Columbia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Empty sections
[edit]Hi, I noticed you created some new articles last month, thanks for doing that. I just wanted to ask if you could please not create empty sections, like a "History" section with the "expand section" template. According to MOS:BODY, empty sections clutter the article for the reader, and also the "expand section" template is not to be used in empty sections. Not a big deal, but there is an annoying banned editor who goes around adding that same thing to thousands of articles, and yours got caught in the cleanup search for them. Thanks for your understanding. --IamNotU (talk) 04:12, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for pointing out my error. I will be sure to omit said error in the future. – Dallas S12345 7:16 PM, 1 May 2020
- Hi, in searching for edits by the above blocked user, I noticed that you have continued to add the same type of empty section with an "expand section" template, for example in this edit: [1]. I have removed it. Please take care to avoid adding such sections, as there is a general agreement among most editors that they are not helpful to the Wikipedia project. Thanks for your understanding. --IamNotU (talk) 16:24, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
- @IamNotU - The "empty section" template exists for a reason. Ship articles usually have a "history" section. This template helps encourage addition of content to those sections when it's lacking. But that said, can you point to this "

USS Molala (ATF-106) -- Question
— Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.175.202.145 (talk) 23:08, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

Since the bibliographic citations that it shows do not provide such information.)

[edit](English: Hello, and good evening to you as well. Regrettably, I do not speak Spanish but am fluent in English (US) only. I have used Google Translate to translate this message for you. Your question, I feel, is not for me. You see, the only edit(s) I've made to said page were minor and do not pertain to the historical portion of the ship. Most of my edits usually focus on typos and lower class editing although there are occasions where I indeed make articles, but this is not the case with this one. This article was created by User:Lou Sander who created the article approximately 7 years ago. If you have any questions, please go to his talk page and politely ask him there. Apologies I could be of no further help.) Dallas S12345 (talk) 01:48, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
Dallas S12345 (talk) 01:48, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
