[edit]Hello, I'm Yamla. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Nitish Kumar, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! --Yamla (talk) 22:38, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- I had supported my edit with a reliable citation from a reputed newspaper in India. Also if you see the first line of the related paragraph, it is not at all supported with any citation. There is no evidence to suggest that Nitish Kumar has been a socialist leader. Its misleading. Instead, my citation arguably mentions that he is not a socialist at all. Dakshinamurti (talk) 22:55, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- You cited it from the blog section, not the reliable section of the site. WP:RS goes into more detail. --Yamla (talk) 22:58, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- True. But whether a person (living or dead) belongs to a political ideology is a very subject thing and generally based on opinion. If it is being claimed that this particular person belongs to the ideology of socialism, then a counter argument, even if it appears as an opinion article by an opposition leader, must be included in the biography. Else, the first line of the section should also be removed as it is not supported by any citation that Nitish Kumar belongs to socialist tradition. Thanks. Dakshinamurti (talk) 23:03, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- So long as you can find a reliable source rather than a blog. The source you were using is inappropriate for Wikipedia. --Yamla (talk) 23:17, 2 April 2022 (UTC)

Closed AfDs
[edit]Hi! I have removed this edit as closed AfDs cannot be edited. If you believe that the discussion was closed in error, you may file a deletion review. Thanks! Star Mississippi 14:35, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
- Hi, I am requesting you to kindly consider the deletion process and undelete the page. This was a genuine page of a young political leaders who has millions of supporters and followers in India. This politically motivated deletion process is not only discriminating and biased but has discouraged a lot people who want to make democracy a better and fair place in India. Please do consider your decision. Thanks. Dakshinamurti (talk) 17:01, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
- Because it was closed via a deletion discussion, I cannot restore it unilaterally. Please follow the instructions at WP:DRV for the next steps. I would suggest you stay away from assumptions about political motivations of any participants. I can speak for myself only, but I have no ties to India. Star Mississippi 17:18, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the suggestion. I will follow the instructions. Dakshinamurti (talk) 17:33, 23 May 2022 (UTC)

- Hi @Dakshinamurti. Just reminding you that you may not edit closed AfDs so I have reverted your edit. If you have an issue, you can raise it with @Ritchie333 as the closing administrator. Star Mississippi 20:21, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
But you are a valued contributor here. I am a new person here. This is totally unfair. Please give this a fair opportunity, otherwise what is the meaning of a fair world. This all seems to be a managed thing in the name of free speech. Thanks. Dakshinamurti (talk) 20:26, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
- No one is allowed to edit a closed AfD, established editor or otherwise and it has absolutely nothing to do with "free speech" which has no bearing on a web project. @King of Hearts gave you a "fair opportunity" with a 3rd discussion which Ritchie333 closed. I'm not sure what else you're looking for to be honest. Star Mississippi 20:30, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
I am not understanding the system. I provided the evidence. Suddenly one person appeared and concluded that the discussion needs to be closed and it is closed. What about my evidence? Who is the judge here? What is the criteria of considering evidence? It is not fair at all.

You agreed that The Plurals Party and Pushpam Priya Choudhary are closely linked and there can be a redirection thing. But suddenly someone concluded that the page should deleted. What is this? I requested you to conduct a search. Dakshinamurti (talk) 20:40, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
Why the onus is on people like us to prove the notability of already existing page? Why not the onus is on the person who is challenging the notability of a person for which an article exists on Wikipedia? Please raise this issue. This is completely against the idea of natural justice. Dakshinamurti (talk) 20:45, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
- that was my opinion. The closer thought the consensus was different. That's within their right as a neutral assessor. The discussion ended after seven days. There was no sudden change. You're welcome to file a(nother) DRV if you think consensus was wrong, but I don't think that will be producive. You should discuss it with @Ritchie333 as the closer before doing so. I personally think you need to leave out comments about judging and justice - also "free speech". Star Mississippi 20:53, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
He is not responding. This is a compete monopoly. Dakshinamurti (talk) 21:15, 13 June 2022 (UTC)

- Hello. I am sorry for my outburst. Thanks for reminding me. I have corrected myself. I am frustrated with the approach and understanding of the contributors. Dakshinamurti (talk) 20:42, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
