photographs of Memphis and Charleston Railroad Locations?
[edit]I was glad to see the photos you supplied on the wiki page for the Memphis and Charleston RR. Would it be possible to find out where the originals are housed, and if there might be more photos of this RR?
Thank you very much

- The originals are stored in museums in both Tennessee collections and in Huntsville collections. You can find plenty of information on the M&CRR in both the Huntsville Times archives and in the archives of the Memphis Chamber of Commerce. At one time many of the M&CRR depots lay along the line but many have been torn down or removed. The Cherokee depot was relocated to the southern area of Colbert County and is used as a meeting house for a hunting club (last information I had). Wikimania in Atlanta!
[edit]Hi! I noticed your involvement on U.S. South-related articles, categories and WikiProjects, and I wanted to let you know about a bid we're formulating to get next year's Wikimania held in Atlanta! If you would like to help, be sure to sign your name to the "In Atlanta" section of the Southeast team portion of the bid if you're in town, or to the "Outside Atlanta" section if you still want to help but don't live in the city or the suburbs. If you would like to contribute more, please write on my talk page, the talk page of the bid, or join us at the #wikimania-atlanta IRC chat on freenode.org. Have a great day!
P.S. While this is a template for maximum efficiency, I would appreciate a note on my talk page so I know you got the message, and what you think. This is time-sensitive, so your urgent cooperation is appreciated. :) Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 06:15, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- A few contributors are from Tennessee and are willing to travel to Atlanta to help set up closer to the event. Do you think that would interest you? Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 20:25, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
