Don't forget Sourcing!

[edit]

Hello, at your article Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sport Club 1924, make sure that everything you add to the article has WP:Sourcing. Any "fact" you add is only as good as its source, such as a footnote to a news article or history book.

If you happen to personally know something about the club, but can't point to a published work that proves it, the fact is no good to anybody because all we have is some anonymous person's say-so. So please do yourself a favour: don't just write things you think are correct, find sourcing first, read the fact, summarise the fact in the article, and WP:Footnote it properly. We can't publish an article without sourcing.

Let me know if you have any questions; you can reach me by posting on my Talk page. MatthewVanitas (talk) 03:28, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Daffy1969. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Sport Club 1924".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. —rybec 15:16, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
