User talk:Daelomin
Welcome!
[edit]Hi Daelomin, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Be Bold! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!
- Editing tutorial, learn to have fun with Wikipedia.
- Picture tutorial, instructions on uploading images.
- How to write a great article, to make it an featured article status.
- Manual of Style, how articles should be written.
Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :
Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: ~~~~. This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)

Stadium effect photo: copyright
[edit]If you are Mr. Dommin, welcome, and thank you for your striking photo; although keep on reading!
If you are not Mr. Dommin, the notice you list for the photo ("courtesy ...") is not as clear as is needed to keep Wikipedia out of copyright trouble! Mr. Dommin's site clearly reserves all rights, which is what we have to presume anyway; do you have his permission to put this into what to practical purposes is the public domain? If so, please make that quite clear; if not, you should remove the photo, alas, as interesting as it is; the article of course can stay, and you might link it to the page on Mr. Dommin's site where the photo appears. Image copyright problem with Image:Stadium_effect_240_12.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Stadium_effect_240_12.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Carnildo or ask for help at Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. Thank you.
