List of all mythological creatures
[edit]Hi, and thank you for creating the article List of all mythological creatures! Wikipedia already had a very similar article, List of legendary creatures, and to avoid duplication I redirected the article you started to the existing one. I hope you'll want to help out with the sub-lists to List of legendary creatures. Happy editing! --bonadea contributions talk 19:40, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
- Again, there's no reason to create articles which are duplicate with existing topics. Instead of creating pages like List of all mythological creatures and Mythological creature list, consider contributing to the already existing article List of legendary creatures (in particular, to one of its subpages). - Mike Rosoft (talk) 21:51, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
- No, I will not unprotect the pages you had created. Again, if Wikipedia already has a page on one subject, there's no value in creating another, inferior one. If you want to experiment, consider using the sandbox or creating a subpage in your user space like User:DaEmon X 555/List of mythological creatures. If you want your page to be an article on Wikipedia, you're probably out of luck; Wikipedia is not a personal website (or Everything2). - Mike Rosoft (talk) 22:02, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
Ok
Why did you remove the Clay Township from the article? As the linked map shows, the Granger census place consists of both Clay and Harris townships. (I have reverted your edit.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 10:10, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
