Recce Pharmaceuticals Ltd

[edit]

There have been no new classes of human antibiotics in over 30 years, resulting in deadly superbug outbreaks with no new medicines to stop it.[1] Recce Pharmaceuticals Ltd (the Company) has developed a whole new class of synthetic antibiotics to tackle that threat.

The Company's lead candidate RECCE® 327 (or the Compound) has undergone several, rigorous safety and efficacy pre-clinical trials, up to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards. The lead candidate has demonstrated confident activity against a broad range of extensively drug resistant (XDR) Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacterial infections, including their superbug forms.

Designed with a purpose, RECCE® 327 is wholly synthetic containing millions of monomers, specifically and specially chosen for their sought after characteristics and then proprietorially bound together to create and form powerful polymers[2] and not rely on what was found in nature. The compound functions by adhering itself to the outer membrane of the deadly bacteria, significantly weakening and disrupting the proteins in a non-specific way, causing the bacterial cell to burst. The Compound has been designed to be attracted to the unique 'lipid' outer-membranes of all bacteria, regardless of Gram stain or mutation, RECCE® 327 kills it and continues to kill it with ease.

@Boothsift:

Hi Boothsift, thank you for your review. Could you please indicate what sections are considering as 'advertising'? Ideally, I would not like to change the entire page if there is only one small section and can happily change references if need be. I also point your attention to other examples such as Chemeq Ltd among others, where they have a Wikipedia page with only 2 references that are from what you categorise as 'non-reliable', both from 2 independent news media company's - The Age and The Australian. Another example is of a company called Mesoblast (who is in our space) where they have a number of references from their website, media articles, press releases and have also identified what medical issues the company is wishing to address.

We are not a company that has been peer reviewed by academics; however, we can supply external documentation (audit papers, patent grant awards/papers etc.) to ensure that everything we have mentioned is of a reliable source.

I look forward to your consideration and hope to resolve this in due course.

Thanks,

@Da322: Get rid of promotional adjectives(keep it neutral) and the last two sections at least. They only serve to promote the company. --BoothSift 02:31, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Boothsift: Hi Boothsift, really appreciate the feedback and direction on this. I am working on it now and will resubmit for your review again. Cheers Da322 (talk) 02:39, 21 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Scope creep:

Hi Scope Creep, could you please be a bit more specific? What needs a rewrite... a paragraph? the entire thing? a sentence? I have used a number of independent, reliable and published academic journal articles. I have written about the company, staff that works there and the technology. I don't understand how this sounds like an advertisement? There are companies within our space such as Chemeq Ltd, Mesoblast (who is in our space) where they reference from their website and media articles... how is that reliable and independent if they are quoting from their website? I have already removed a number of items, which our previous reviewer told us and I had done, that made us sound like we are promoting the company. Unfortunately there is no other company that has produced synthetic antibiotics, which makes it difficult to reference.

Thanks,
