I don't think you've understood either... Just copy this {{unblock-un|your new username here}} from here to the edit window on a new line. Then put your suggestion for a new name instead of the 'your new username here' bit, but don't touch anything else!. Then save it. I don't know what you've done above, but someone who does will sort it. We look at your suggested name, and say yes or no. When you get a yes, you'll get instructions for the next step. Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
Do you understand conflict of interest?
Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?

name change

Yes I do understand that, I hadn't really realized how much picking this name would have made such a chain reaction. It was not made specifically to make articles to "promote" DWP which by the way, doesn't sell anything at all. It's a research company. I just felt that it could be interesting to contribute to wikipedia with information it doesn't currently have. Also, if you consider that this particular article is biased or does not comply with the terms of wikipedia why not point out in which way or make the modifications by yourself? I certainly cannot correct anything or delete the link to the website while blocked.DWPEDITIONS (talk) 15:16, 29 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember that Wikipedia editors and administrators are volunteers who generally have lives outside Wikipedia. So sometimes it may take a few days to respond to concerns, especially if it happens to be a holiday in their home country, as it is this weekend for American editors. I for instance have made a week's worth of coleslaw, a loaf of bread (in my Pullman pan), and a braised rabbit today instead of editing Wikipedia. — Bill W. No, I don't think you complained. The original intent of my post was to let you know that it might be a while before you got a response.
