DYK: Barnsley fern
[edit]Thank you, DSP-user. Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad that you approve of my DYK hook. Actually, I should apologize for nominating your Barnsley fern article -- I didn't see your original nom! I've fixed things up at T:TDYK#Barnsley fern. --PFHLai (talk) 01:48, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- And now I see your comment here too. Like I said, I think YOUR version is much better!DSP-user (talk) 04:38, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

New intro at Cloud computing
[edit]I applaud your attempt at a new intro; the article desperately needs one. In the meantime, the intro as you crafted it is based on some big statements that are unsourced... in other words, they aren't verifiable. Which is a big no-no. It would be far better to find solid sources of a clear definition, and then cite those in the intro. Thanks, for getting us going on re-writing that intro. 842U (talk) 14:57, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
