The Real World: St. Thomas Reunion

[edit]

Great job as always, brother. One question: Did the reunion air right after the season finale, as I assume it did, and as it did in previous years? Just wanna make sure, because I've usually included that fact when I've written the reunion section for prior seasons. Nightscream (talk) 18:03, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I noticed that that aspect of the reunion was not initially included, but figured you'd eventually get to it, or that the summary would be fine without it. Nightscream (talk) 03:58, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Surnames

[edit]
Yeah, he did the same thing to the Cancun article. The thing is, there was no citation in the cell containing his name, so I let it go, figuring I could put off the matter until later. So I looked just now at his bio in the Cancun article, and saw that one of the sources cited indeed supports his real given name. I restored it to all three articles, and added that cite.

A barnstar for you!

Confusing edit

[edit]

Hey man, way to go on keeping all the NFL team season articles up to date. You really do a sterling job of keeping them all looking ship-shape! However, I don't understand this edit; what was your thinking behind the use of the + sign to indicate extra points, for example? I've never seen any page use that format, so it must have taken some thought on your part. – PeeJay 12:46, 17 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@PeeJay2K3: I guess I was just trying to use a different type of format, instead of trying to follow consistency of other NFL season articles. Just an FYI, I have already laid down the preliminary ground work of the 2017 NFL season articles for all 32 teams, which are all on redirect for now. — DPH1110 (talk) 05:45, 18 December 2016 (UTC)DPH1110[reply]

2017 Denver Broncos article thanks

[edit]

Hi. Just wanted to thank you for that edit you made to the 2017 Broncos article in which I thought they finished with their worst post-merger record of 5-11. I completely forgot about the 2010 edition that finished one worse. I have corrected the article about the 1990 Broncos to reflect this. Johnnysama (talk) 18:22, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2019 New York Jets season moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, 2019 New York Jets season, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Use zeroes, not dashes

[edit]

Can I please ask you to use zeroes instead of dashes or the word "none" when listing attendances in NFL team season articles? A dash implies that the information is unavailable, when in fact the figure is precisely zero paying spectators, and the word "none" is awkward when dealing with countable values. You wouldn't write an attendance out as "seventy-two thousand, four hundred sixty-eight", so why represent the value 0 with a word? – PeeJay 09:52, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I might do exactly that on the game capsules of all 32 teams when my busy work schedule gives me a chance. DPH1110 (talk) 16:32, 5 October 2020 (UTC)DPH1110[reply]
No worries, I just meant it going forward. Obviously I don't expect you to do anything immediately, I'd just noticed you (or perhaps someone else) reverted my changes to the Vikings article, so I wanted to at least ignite the discussion. Glad to see you're amenable though. – PeeJay 06:40, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:2021 National Football League season by team requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Schedule flexing

[edit]

Hey man, are you sure the Vikings' week 12 game against the Bears can't still be flexed? It's a Monday Night game, so I think they still have some time to decide whether to move that to Sunday (I think the deadline is next Wednesday). – PeeJay 15:00, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I think I goofed on that one. We're already past the (12-day) deadline for the Vikings-Broncos Sunday night game in Week 11, but the Week 12 Monday night game vs. the Bears is still tentative. Yeah I think November 15 (next Wednesday) is indeed the deadline for all Week 12 games to be flexed. I just now fixed that footnote. I just now came across this link for 2023 flexible scheduling: https://www.nfl.com/schedules/flexible-scheduling-procedures DPH1110 (talk) 18:28, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks man, that’s what I thought. I’m flying out for the Bears game with a bunch of UK-based Vikings fans, so we’ve been watching like hawks to see if it will be flexed. It shouldn’t matter if it gets moved to Sunday, I just hope it doesn’t! – PeeJay 00:07, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
