Hello, DJDonkey. You may need to consider our guidance on conflicts of interest including WP:NOPAY. All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People with a close connection to a subject need to be aware of Wikipedia's policies;

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view. You may also wish to avoid giving the impression that your account is to be used for promotional purposes. Regardless, doing so does not exempt you from compliance with Wikipedias policies.

This is your only warning; if you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Hu12 (talk) 19:52, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Hu12 - Thanks for taking the time to respond. Please provide specific examples of where any point of view about the Open IPTV Forum has been expressed in this article. Please also illustrate where there is any form of promotion beyond quoting published articles in mainstream technology media. You ironically seem to be light on backing up your opinion / point of view so far which appears to be the only reason for deletion. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.189.161.68 (talk) 20:00, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Without commenting here on the content, reverting my procedural decline of your AFC submission pending further improvement after I was forthcoming enough to restore it there, isn't helping your case and warrants itself a warning. Don't do that again. Thanks. --Tikiwont (talk) 21:48, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for coming back Tikiwont - am new here and was trying to get back to the original article you restored to make those further improvements you suggested. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DJDonkey (talkcontribs) 21:53, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

 Editor note. DJ, please ignore all the messages posted above. It is irrelevant wether there is a conflict of interest here. We do not have any rules whatsoever against that and you may feel free to contribute to the article even if you are directly or indirectly related to the subject, as long as you write the article from a neutral point of view per WP:NPOV. However, please understand that articles hosted on Wikipedia have to be written in a certain tone per WP:TONE. This means that the article can not be written like an advertisement per WP:ADS. If you need any help on how to write the article please ask any questions at the WP:TEAHOUSE and ask to be adopted at WP:ADOPT. In the meantime I will be serving as your mentor so please feel free to ask me any questions at my talk page. Once again, please ignore all the messages posted above and do not post any copyrighted content to Wikipedia. —Ahnoneemoos (talk) 14:50, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

information Administrator note I would advise you that Ahnoneemoos's message is in serious error. Unilaterally being advised to ignore other editors/administrators comments is ill advised. There is clear evidence you and your company has persistently used Wikipedia to promote your organization over the years and your current contributions to Wikipedia under DJDonkey and his IP's 78.41.3.211 and 93.189.161.68 is a continuation of that. Based on the edit histories, you exists for the sole or primary purpose of promoting Open IPTV Forum. Marketing directors cannot actively edit subjects they have a conflict of interest with, nor is it acceptable as it violates Neutrality (a fundamental principle by which Wikipedia operates). Be advised the previous warnings given to you by Tikiwont and myself still apply, and should not be ignored. Additionally please read Law Of Unintended Consequences. Wikipedia is NOT a "vehicle for advertising" . Equally Wikipedia is not a place to to promote Open IPTV Forum. --Hu12 (talk) 16:26, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

DJ, to explain what Hu12 is trying to say: you can and will be banned if you promote the Open IPTV Forum without adhering to our WP:NPOV rule. However, nothing and no one, not even an administrator, can stop you from editing Wikipedia if you adhere to WP:NPOV. The advise is clear: don't violate WP:NPOV or you will be banned. —Ahnoneemoos (talk) 17:31, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
