Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to World Soccer (magazine) does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Throast (talk | contribs) 17:07, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello.

I noticed that you enjoy creating and expanding wiki pages about the national football squads of tournaments from the early 20th century, such as Football at the 1906 Intercalated Games – Men's team squads and Football at the Inter-Allied Games – Men's team squads, so I was wondering if you would be interested in making the same with 1911 UIAFA European Football Tournament.

Kind regards. Barr Theo (talk) 01:45, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Football at the 1904 Summer Olympics – Men's team squads, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Captain (football). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 18:00, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
