Li Qianxin moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Li Qianxin, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. scope_creepTalk 22:03, 5 September 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at Draft:Yarkand Massacre shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. — MarkH21talk 21:11, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
- How did I engage in an Edit War? Can you give an example? You move my article to the draft page and I added the source as you request, and you should give me time to edit the draft page without disturbing me, according to the Wikipedia policy. You consistently appears while I am editing the draft page. Thanks. --D7CY689 (talk) 21:18, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
- It is a courtesy notice, because you removed the {{better source}} template multiple times. Keep in mind that WP:3RR says that
An edit or a series of consecutive edits that undoes other editors' actions—whether in whole or in part—counts as a revert.
— MarkH21talk 21:20, 28 September 2020 (UTC)- I am not just removing your template without adding anything. I removed your template, at the same time I have added a better source as requested, so that's why I removed the template. If you don't think my source is a better source, you can put the template back and explain why you don't think that is not a better source.--D7CY689 (talk) 21:23, 28 September 2020 (UTC)
- The point is that removing the template, even if you add another source, still counts as a revert since it undoes another editor's actions. I am just letting you know what 3RR is. Thanks for working on improving the sourcing though.— MarkH21talk 21:25, 28 September 2020 (UTC)

Aspersions on your user page
[edit]I am going to kindly ask you to remove the log of accusations on your user page.
- I never claimed that I can block you from editing (
said on my talk page that he can block me from editing
) – the standard 3RR notice says that you can be blocked, not that I will block you (and I cannot block you as I am not an administrator). - It is also not true that
MarkH21 removed all my edits regarding latest developments of the events, so he can simply say "there is no new development of the case let's merge the article back" because he just removed all the latest developments and he don't allow me to add them to prove that the previous argument was wrong
. As I have already explained in this edit summary and here, the revert was on purely procedural grounds because you should not implement a split out-of-process as you did here, particularly before the splitting discussion is closed and just 3 hours after this notification for broader discussion was issued. I have not even offered an opinion in the splitting discussion nor have I prevented you from presenting your arguments and new developments in the discussion itself.
In case you were not already aware, keeping a public log of unsubstantiated accusations (e.g. suggesting wrongdoing or misrepresenting actions) against other editors is considered to be casting aspersions and is not allowed. Please remove them. Thanks.
As a personal addendum, please know that I am not trying to antagonize you nor am I opposed to having the articles that you created. However, there are strict verifiability and neutral point of view standards on Wikipedia and also procedural standard for building consensus that need to be upheld. We can work on these articles constructively to meet WP policies, meet community consensus, and be as encyclopedic as possible. — MarkH21talk 07:23, 29 September 2020 (UTC)

DYK for Yarkand Massacre
[edit]On 6 October 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Yarkand Massacre, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that independent media and scholars estimate that thousands might have perished in the Yarkand Massacre in 2014? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Yarkand Massacre. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Yarkand Massacre), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
