Speedy deletion
[edit]Great work tagging the Damian clementi article for deletion. You may find it helpful to use one of the more specific tags for deletion. Some of the recurring ones are {{db-bio}}, {{db-attack}}, and {{db-band}}, but a complete list can be found at WP:CSD. Also, don't be afraid to use the {{prod}}, for proposed deletion if the article does not seem to fit under one of the criteria (for instance, it is nonsense but not Patent nonsense as the speedy critera requires-mixing up the two is a common mistake). A prod'd article can still be speedied later, if need be.
A lot of vanity pages and such are honest mistakes, and their creators are none to pleased to find their life or band is called "non-notable," so sometimes erring on the side of caution is better on general principles of public relations. Sometimes for very new pages, I'll watch it for a few minutes before placing the tag, or put on a {{PotentialVanity}} tag, to give the person the opportunity to explain, before it is tagged for deletion. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if I can help with anything. In any event, keep up the good work, and again, welcome. --TeaDrinker 20:38, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
