Austin Police Department employee whose sole purpose is to promote propaganda on behalf of Austin Police Department
[edit]We see your edits - you love to delete documented facts while pushing unfounded claims. We know you work for the Austin Police Department. Do the people of Austin pay you to push propaganda? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ArizonaComebacks (talk • contribs) 12:43, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Austin Police Department. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. gobonobo + c 21:59, 6 November 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm MusikAnimal. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Austin Police Department— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — MusikAnimal talk 19:53, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion
[edit]Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Cynlouise reported by User:Pishcal (Result: ). Thank you. Pishcal (talk) 13:44, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
Bbb23 -I haven't been on Wikipedia for over a week and only today became aware of the block. I am so Wikipedia illiterate I would have no idea or desire to attempt a "block evasion". Please explain why you believe I did this. There is no information or explanation provided. Just an assumption of my quilt. Thank you.
- The notice below of the increase refers to the IP that formed the basis for my conclusion that you evaded your block.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:00, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
How do I figure out what my IP address is? No one accesses wikipedia to edit except myself on this computer. And I have told my children never to use Wikipedia as a source when studying because of inaccuracies. I have not been on wikipedia since my last edit/undo of Arizonacombacks biased statements which I imagine you can access and that was about a week ago I think. I am logged on to this computer as CynLouise for 30 days and so would not have showed up as an anonymous IP number. What is a block evasion anyway? You never explained that. Thank you
- When you are blocked, editing Wikipedia, either as an IP or with another named account, is block evasion.--Bbb23 (talk) 02:23, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
I've telling you it was not me. Others are aware of the kind of editing that was done to the APD page. Perhaps it was one of them. HOw are you determining you are not violating someone else's right to edit this page?
So to understand this, even though I made no edits between 12/9 and 12/19, you automatically attributed any changes to me? Are you going to monitor this page and make sure it stays as is? Because it looks great right now. What will prevent you from attributing edits to me when I don't make any for the next two weeks? Can you please be more expansive with your answer than you have been. I am not understanding. Is there a way for you to look at my IP address. It will be the same for all edits by Cynlouise. Please explain with multiple sentences and perhaps some examples to illustrate your answer. I'm very low tech and have trouble with statements like "refers to the IP that formed the basis for my conclusion that you evaded your block" when that IP could not be associated with me because I only have one computer. What was the basis of your decision that it was associated with me? Thank you

. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Bbb23 (talk) 12:25, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
- I've increased your block to one week from now for block evasion (User:99.103.66.179).--Bbb23 (talk) 15:36, 11 December 2014 (UTC)

- Immediately after expiration of your last block, you resumed edit warring at Austin Police Department, restoring your version that was the basis of the battle between you and the other editor (also blocked by another admin for doing the same thing).--Bbb23 (talk) 02:07, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
