Question: If my edit to a page is true, neutral, applicable, and verified with citation, how can another user boot it off? I'm new to this, so please enlighten me.Cynimue (talk) 07:30, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Welcome
[edit]...to Wikipedia. I reverted your addition to the 300 (soundtrack) article as it isn't backed by a reliable source. You claimed that "the melody is exactly the same"; while that may be so, you still need a reliable source agreeing with you. Cheers. 3rdAlcove (talk) 19:11, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
Hello again. I'd recommend you read the WP:RS guideline, since I'm not absolutely certain what might count as a reliable source in such articles (ie articles usually not covered by encyclopedias, such as soundtracks; I noticed the rest of the sources after you pointed them out, I'm not sure if they are considered reliable either). I do doubt that the blog you cite would/should be considered one, though. An admin or a user who usually works in similar articles might also be able to help. 3rdAlcove (talk) 12:20, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
