Operación Alacrán copy edit and DYK
[edit]Have you nominated Operación Alacrán for DYK yet? They like it to be nominated within 7 days of expansion, which would have been January 23. They'll probably make an exception, but I'd suggest nominating it (at WP:DYKNOM) ASAP, even if it isn't ready right now.
It seems like there are two parts to the alleged conspiracy: (1) bribery of deputies and (2) a military (national guard) operation to block deputies from the national assembly. If this is correct, I feel that this needs to be stated very clearly, with citations.
A little more background on the political climate and the 5 January 2020 Venezuelan National Assembly Delegated Committee election would help to set context for the alleged conspiracy. But it shouldn't duplicate too much from the other article.
This article seems a little scattered. I feel it would benefit from addressing its points either chronologically or topically, and some layout work for what fits in each section.
You'll probably get better advice at the DYK review, but if some of this can be addressed I may be able to do some more copy editing.
Hope this helps. – Reidgreg (talk) 17:49, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
- OK, already nominated at Template:Did you know nominations/Operación Alacrán, lets see how the reviewers will comment the articles. Thanks -cyrfaw (talk) 21:51, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
- Good. I've got that on my watchlist and will try to keep an eye open for the reviewer's response. It may be a few weeks before someone gets to it, so please continue working on the article. – Reidgreg (talk) 22:03, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
- Ok then, thanks --cyrfaw (talk) 22:22, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
