. So much for your claim of never returning. Reneging on your promise is fine, but creating a new account is not allowed. If you want to be unblocked, then make an unblock request on your Cydevil3800 account. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:10, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for your correspondence. I have previously scrambled my password to get away from Wikipedia. But I feel I can still contribute in a constructive way. My current intention is to restrain myself from any editing on articles, but still partake in talk pages. If you'd be so kind please let me taking over my former account. I'm not hiding anything, cydevil, cydevil38, cydevil3800 are all my accounts, but not accessible. I wish to make appeal to block without IP addresses running about, but a singular account. I am appealing this ban:

. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:50, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
Appeal:
Cydaemon (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
My account at the time was User:Cydevil38. There was a long-term edit over Template:History of Korea with multiple users. One of them was User:Zanhe, and there were others, such as User:Collision787. Even during the edit warring, Zanhe and I were discussing over the contested material.[1] Collision787 and his socks were not involved in these discussions at all. He was using sockpuppets one after another, and he continues to do so.[2] I and Zanhe eventually reached a difficult consensus by my initiation[3]. to which Zanhe agreed[4]. After that, there wasn't much discussion and there were constant reverts against consensus made between I and Zanhe. I was the one who kept reverting it, and this prompted a ban of myself from User:HJ Mitchell.[5] If I was more familiar with Wikipedia policies such as protecting pages, I would have acted better than resorting to edit warring with what most likely are sockpuppets. Instead, User:HJ Mitchell just blocked me. The very least that could've been done to prevent future behavior would've been informing me of the option of asking administrators to semi/fully protect pages that are under dispute by anon ips or sockpuppets. To this end, I feel that User:HJ Mitchell's ban wasn't really effective at all except for accumulating blocks than prevent disruptive behavior(edit warring). I was edit warring with a bunch of anon IPs and/or socks and I was banned for it without any better suggestions to deal with it. To this end, I appeal to this ban that it has not been preventive and there were much better ways to deal with the situation given at hand, which I will utilize in the future. Cydaemon (talk)

Block evasion is not permitted. If you think you should be unblocked, request an unblock from your original account. Huon (talk) 19:03, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
I have scrambled my password, and therefore cannot access the accounts in question. I can make appeals on this ID or some inconsistent IP addresses. What can I do from this point? Any information is welcome. Cydaemon (talk) 05:48, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You will need to recover your account through one of the varying means available to you. Namely, Special:PasswordReset on the account you were originally blocked on. Mkdwtalk 18:20, 25 September 2015 (UTC)

Request reason:
I've tried Special:PasswordReset, but I'm not getting any progress. The sockpuppet I have aforementioned is still very active[6][7], driving another decent editor into edit warring. This very sockpuppet resulted in myself being banned for edit warring by an administrator, whom I believe didn't know much of what's going on. Meanwhile, a fellow editor is trying to correct information on Han Dynasty, which I'd like to contribute to, without making article edits.
As for my former accounts, I have scrambled not only the password, but also the e-mail address. If possible, I'd like to get my former account back, but otherwise, I'm incapable of recovering my old accounts. Cydaemon (talk) 08:49, 24 October 2015 (UTC)

I'd suggest waiting 6 months and then going through the standard offer. PhilKnight (talk) 22:22, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:33, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
