Thanks for your updates to the Tent City article. However, in order to prevent the Tent City 4 portion of the article from overrunning the rest of the article, we have created a sub-article to cover Tent City 4. Please feel free to make updates to that article instead. --Bobblehead 08:45, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Tent City and Tent City 4 moderator request
[edit]First off, thanks for the updates you've been making to the Tent City articles.;) I don't think we've reached a point quite yet where a moderator is needed. Well, aside from a few helpful tips for you and User:Coz 11 from me. :) I've already made similar suggestions on Coz 11's talk page, just continuing the pattern here.;) Anywho, here are a few suggestions.
- Assume good faith. This is obviously a contentious issue, just means more patience is needed. Well, patience and sources. Heh.
- If Coz undoes some of your edits, find more sources that support your wording. I personally prefer an article from one of the local newspapers to a link to NUCC or SHARE/WHEEL, but that's just a personal preference as the papers definitely meet the reputable source requirements. Some editors might find NUCC and SHARE/WHEEL questionable as they are a smidge biased on this topic, but if you want to link to them, it's okay. Just be prepared to support it.;)
- Make sure your sources actually support what you're linking them to. If you're pulling a nugget out of a source, don't be afraid to include the paragraph and or page number for it in the citation. Even if the source is 99% opposite of what you're linking to, as long as you clarify the location of the citation, it's acceptable.
Yet again, thanks for the updates and working to improve the articles. I'm definitely not knowledgeable enough on the topic to do much more than source check and remove some of the most blatant of POV, so your assistance in editting is greatly appreciated by me. --Bobblehead 00:19, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Mediation Case: Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-06-19 Tent City and Tent City 4(King County, Washington)
[edit]I have finished creating the mediation page you started, but you'll still need to fill out the "Request Information" section of the case. In order to finish your mediation request, please Click Here and fill in the answers to the questions. If you don't fill out the answers to the questions, we may assume you've changed your mind and no longer seek mediation.
Thank you, ~Kylu (u|t) 00:38, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- I've moved your comment from Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-06-19 Tent City to Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-06-19 Tent City and Tent City 4(King County, Washington) (the original name of your case) and added a redirect. Please edit Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-06-19 Tent City and Tent City 4(King County, Washington), which is the correct case name (as you submitted it)
Do you still need mediation on Tent City and Tent City 4(King County, Washington)? I noticed you haven't updated the mediation request. I think I know most of the issues, I'd just prefer to know all the issues before I wade in too far. --Bobblehead 18:48, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- Being the 4th of July season and the propensity of vacations in this time frame, I'm going to give you until July 9 to complete the mediation request. If the request isn't completed by then I'm going to close it, so it doesn't clog up the works, so to speak.. However, even if I do close it, you can request for it to be re-opened at a later date if you feel that it is still needed. Thanks! --Bobblehead 17:08, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
