Advance Wars 2 edits
Regarding your edits in the Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising. We appreciate the effort you put in adding information. However, most of that information does not fit in Wikipedia. We want the common reader to say "What is Advance Wars?" and find all the introductory information there. Afterwards, if he wants more precise (movement ranges, stage descriptions, CO caracteristics, etc) he should check the corresponding wikibook, where I redirect you.
Please, feel free to add as much information there, and to wikify the article to make it a high quality one! -- ReyBrujo 02:02, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
I answered your comment on my talk page. --Scott Davis Talk 06:51, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Hi there. I see you've reverted to the "Given without context..." formula at the top of Scarborough. I assumed that User:Atemperman's removal was a challenge to its legitimacy (it may not have been: it may just have been a good-faith tidy-up attempt). I added the "named after..." bit, because I'm more certain that it's true. I can't say I've looked for a source for the assertion that Scarborough, N Yorks is the most likely target without context, but I'm not sure that's verifiable. While I'm happy with the status quo (because it justifies the N Yorks Scarborough being at the top of the list, which should otherwise be alphabetised), would it be more prudent (and less POV) to arrange the page along the lines of Exeter (disambiguation), with a comment and then proper alphabetic listing? Thanks for your thoughts. — mholland 02:06, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- I don't especially mind. I'll leave it alone. — mholland 12:05, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Reverting of vandalism on List of Advance Wars COs
Hi CyberSach,
I stopped by because I saw this edit on my watchlist, and I wanted to let you know that the content you reverted doesn't really qualify as vandalism; rather, it was simply an unsourced statement added by an anonymous user. It may not seem like a big deal, but it's important to keep in mind that most new contributors are simply not familiar with our policies and are just trying to improve the encylopedia as best as they can.
Incidentally, if you haven't already I would suggest checking out Friendly, a JavaScript tool that makes it easy to welcome new users while informing them of any potential problems with their first edits. Thanks! --jonny-mt 08:42, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
- The reason why I put it was vandalism, is because there is NO way that a person could conceive Olaf to have helped Sturm, because that isn't a possible plot twist, and the meteor hits an area with radius 3. Incidentally I classify incorrect unreferenced information to be vandalism, so I wrote rvv with that intention. I'll watch for the first edits thing though. <3 bunny 03:06, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- I see what you're saying, but the difference between vandalism and what you reverted is that incorrect, unreferenced information can be added with the best of intentions, while vandalism is added with the intent to harm. Even in the latter case, it's generally a good idea to assume good faith and mark it as a test edit in all but the most blatant of circumstances. --jonny-mt 01:58, 31 January 2008 (UTC)

An article that you have been involved in editing, List of Advance Wars COs, has been listed for deletion. I've removed your prod. Lack of references is not grounds for deletion. If you disagree, you can propose it for AfD. Corvus cornixtalk 04:16, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- The reason I nominated it was lack of significance, noting all the information comes from one page (ghits returned no credible sources, except maybe the site you referenced), and it being unreferenced. <3 bunny 04:18, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- One of the first women to file a sexual discrimination lawsuit is notable. I repeat, lack of sources is not grounds for deletion. Note in the article's history, there was an attempt at deletion once before, and it was removed. Corvus cornixtalk 04:21, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Do those sources help? Corvus cornixtalk 04:26, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- And try these ghits. Corvus cornixtalk 04:27, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clear-up, and I hope you took no offense from my prod. <3 bunny 04:58, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Nope, no offense taken. :) Corvus cornixtalk 05:05, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clear-up, and I hope you took no offense from my prod. <3 bunny 04:58, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
AWB
I approved you for AWB because you have the required 500 edits, but I will tell you AWB is not a tool for vandalism reverting (more for tedious editing). jj137 (talk) 21:04, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Smolny Convent
I've done some editing on Smolny Convent to improve the NPOV. Although it is still in need of references, do you think the article as it is now can have the {{npov}} tag removed? MishaPan (talk) 22:33, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
- I think the following lines need a bit of editing, otherwise, it looks good =). Oh, feel free to argue these lines are NPOV.
- a stunning blue-and-white building ("stunning", maybe "architectural masterpiece" afterwards)
- completing this grand design ("grand")
- huge bell-tower (word choice "huge")
- Thanks! <3 bunny 02:42, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Please restore my latest version of the article. --Eastmain (talk) 04:48, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

I don't understand your proposed deletions. Please explain to me why these should be changed from anything other than a redirect to a list page. We have been redirecting thousands of links like this. MilkTaco 02:23, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
