Particle board
[edit]I removed the videos that you so nicely rearranged as they are about oriented strand board, not particle board. OSB is quite different that particle board in looks, feel, strength, and manufacturing. I notice that the videos are not on the OSB page. Maybe they should be moved there? - Go ahead, if they are more appropriate there! Curatrice (talk) 22:30, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

Pictures
[edit]Please stop rearranging images on pages. I have undone your work on the article Metric System and am explaining why on that article's Talk page. I do not want to follow you around Wikipedia explaining in words of one sylable why you should not be touching it. Martinvl (talk) 20:27, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
- Stop rearranging images on pages? Why? I'm tidying their formatting. And what do you mean by "I do not want to follow you around Wikipedia explaining in words of one sylable why you should npot be touching it"? What shouldn't I be touching, why not, and why use words of one syllable? Curatrice (talk) 20:33, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
- No you are not - Firstly, lede pictures are normally larger than other pcitures. Elsewhere, editors have taken care to arrange the sizes opf pictures to get the best aesthetic effect,. You are undoing their work by applying a "vanilla one-size-fits-all approach". PLEASE STOP THIS NOW. Martinvl (talk) 20:37, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
- I think you are being very unreasonable. I accept that it may be appropriate for the first image of the article to be bigger, but that is easy to fix without bull-dozing away all the other edits I made which improved compliance with WP:IMGSIZE.
- Also, you failed (or refused?) to answer the questions I asked:
- What shouldn't I be touching?
- Why shouldn't I be touching whatever it is?
- Why would you be using words of one syllable? Curatrice (talk) 21:58, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
- If you look at the note at the top of WP:IMAGE, you will see This guideline is a part of the English Wikipedia's Manual of Style. Use common sense in applying it; it will have occasional exceptions. When you are adding new material, WP:IMAGE is a wonderful guideline. However, to change existing material to "comply" with WP:IMAGE is a a "no-no" unless you are rem, edying something that is obviously wrong. In such cases, look at WP:IMAGE - if applying WP:IMAGE will right the wrong, then great, if not, leave it alone unless you have particular artistic skills. Martinvl (talk) 08:58, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
- I disagree with your reasoning for ignoring WP:IMGSIZE. And anyway, you dodn't answer the 3 outstanding questions I bulleted above, and now there is a 4th, so I'll list them all to avoid confusion:
- What shouldn't I be touching?
- Why shouldn't I be touching whatever it is?
- Why would you be using words of one syllable?
- Is there a Wikipedia test or exam that I need to take to see if I have the appropriate artistic skills required to be allowed to apply WP:IMAGE? Curatrice (talk) 18:54, 15 December 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Please don't do anything until I have had a chance to update the Talk page. Martinvl (talk) 20:24, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
- Anything where? Curatrice (talk) 20:26, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
- Happy new year Martinvl! Now I'm back from my Christmas vacation, will you allow me to do anything (where?) yet? Curatrice (talk) 09:52, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
Do you know anything about this?
[edit]Hey Curatrice, we have been implicated, along with others, in some sort of "investigation" going on here: "Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/DeFacto". I'm not sure what it is all about, but have asked there for clarification. Do you know anything about it, or know what, if anything, we should be doing about it? MeasureIT (talk) 07:28, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
I notice that we appear to have something else in common too: I see above that you have had some "interactions" with User:Martinvl. MeasureIT (talk) 07:32, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
- He seems to resent your contributions more than mine! Curatrice (talk) 18:17, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
Sockpuppetry claims
[edit]Hi there. The guidance for defending yourself is at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SPI/Guidance#Defending yourself against claims. I hope this is helpful. GedUK 14:26, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for that, I'm reading it now! Curatrice (talk) 15:23, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
