Speedy deletion of Cafone

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Cafone requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. pablohablo. 23:12, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Giuseppe Rosaroll, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Canegrate culture, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.maasberg.ch/eKelten.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Canegrate culture

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Canegrate culture requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. It is a duplicate of Anti-Communist Volunteer Militia, but it's much more detailed, so I'd suggest taking the content from V.A.C. and incorporating it into Anti-Communist Volunteer Militia. Once this process is finished, merge tags can be removed and V.A.C. can be made to redirect to the target article. See Help:Merging and moving pages or ask me if you need help. GregorB (talk) 14:29, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'll merge the two articles but unfortunately some moderator yet delated V.A.C. I disagree on the name of Anti-Communist as in the original italian it is "Anti Comunista" the hyphen is a later error then the political name, used by the fascist party administration, was "Anti Communist Volunteer Militia" but the military denomination was Bande V.A.C. as "Bande" was the term used by italian military for irregular auxiliary forces, see the colonial italian Army use for this I would suggest a name for the Wiki article as "Anti Communist Volunteer Militia - Bande V.A.C." merginf the two use

thank you for your attention, regards

The issue with the article name is tricky - I can't really say which is better. But it is not critical, the article can be renamed any time. GregorB (talk) 20:40, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ok, in this event I'll provide to a common definite version as soon as I'll have free time

I was thinking to a tripartition of the contents according the three enlistment areas of Montenegro, Dalmatia/Bosnia and Slovenia who also had different histories

see you soon

You have been accused of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Brunodam. Thank you. Re: Needing help

[edit]

I'm not an administrator, but I will help if I can... Is this regarding the sockpuppetry accusation? GregorB (talk) 20:30, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'd like to help, but I'm afraid there's really not much I can do, except maybe offer advice... GregorB (talk) 20:59, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Actually you did submit your case in a way, at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Brunodam. The accusation is that you have already been banned from Wikipedia, as User:Brunodam. Also, that you are editing the same articles under multiple accounts. I don't see any real evidence other than circumstantial, though. GregorB (talk) 21:58, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Frankly, I don't know what else there is to say. Your name is only mentioned in connection with Eritrean Ascari. The other 5 or 6 articles have apparently not been edited by you. So, if this is all, then the accusation is rather weak, and there's nothing of substance to contest anyway. GregorB (talk) 22:57, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Of course not. Put Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Brunodam on your watchlist and see what happens. GregorB (talk) 23:32, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cunibertus, the sockpuppet case has been processed, and it turns out I was entirely wrong about you. I am sincerely very sorry for my mistake. I wish you every success in your future Wiki career. Best regards, and apologies once again. AlasdairGreen27 (talk) 18:14, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tabula clesiana

[edit]

Hi Cunibertus. I'm just wonderiing about the actual value of the Tabula clesiana page in our encyclopedia. At the moment it is simply a copy of the Latin text with little or no context. I personally do not feel that this will be much help for our readers. I have not tagged the article for deletion, because I wanted to know if you intend to expand the article. Regards, --Kudpung (talk) 19:29, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

not much as at present I haven't enough of time being in leaving for my vacations, I could only add some details

The "Tabula clesiana" is an important evidence of the rapid assimilation by the Roman world of the Alpine peoples of farmers-hunters but also from the point of view of the Roman law the first evidence of the introduction of delatores in the fiscal controversy[1]. Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Company of Death, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Yopie (talk) 22:59, 4 August 2010 (UTC) I have somehow the feeling, after a long experience here, a lot of people on wiki hasn't the lightest notion about the matters they start talking about. In this case I would suggest some classic pieces of theater http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_battaglia_di_Legnano http://www.amatriciana.org/public/a_pubblicazioni/colossal_barbarossa_2.jpg http://www.facebook.com/photo_search.php?oid=49135283761&view=all if you look with attention the black knight in the portrait you'll see the skull and bones who was considered traditionally a distinctive of the knights of the company of death http://www3.varesenews.it/immagini_articoli/200905/dsc_0802.jpg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Legnano Defining the Company of Death an hoax is quietly misinformed, it could have been a myth, but it is a founding myth of a state nation. Arrigo joins the Knights of Death, a group which pledges itself to fight to the death rather than suffer defeat or imprisonment. All unite to swear an oath to support the cause of Italy (Giuriam d'Talia por fine ai danni / "We swear to put an end to Italy's wrongs"). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risorgimento some videos could also help http://www.google.it/#hl=it&tbs=vid%3A1&q=Frederick+Barbarossa+-+The+company+of+death&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=704679f3961ca840 sincerelly yours Cunibertus (talk) 23:25, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did on Articles for deletion/Company of Death. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. Yopie (talk) 00:01, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thank you. Yopie (talk) 00:45, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry Yopie, but I didn't attack you, but your competence about the subject being your area of expertise different and you don't apparently know the matter you have criticized as I demonstrated with different sources, from your own country of origin too Cunibertus (talk) 09:54, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Opici and Osci

[edit]

Hi there. That is one theory. What I'm seeing is that the names of these Italic tribes diversify along with the languages. I haven't done very much work on those articles yet. They are on my current list. I go down the list. When I get sick of the article I am on I go to the next on the list. I should be getting back to the Italics pretty quick. Meanwhile whatever I do not change remains, right or wrong. You have a strong opinion. That is not the only opinion in the sources. We want to be careful not to exclude theories that in fact are still current. What we need above all are sources. You are quite right, to research each item and give the best source is not exactly a small task. I can understand if you can't get to it right now. When I get there now that you have mentioned it I will pay especial attention the point you bring up. I only follow the sources. I can't promise an instant solution. I do not believe it was I who worked up the original material so I am always dealing with material I did not work up. When I am on it though I do the best I can to fix it. Just a couple of ground rules. The only basis you or I or any other editor has for pronouncing any theory "right" or "wrong" is its presence in a credible source. So, your or my conviction is worth nothing. If we were writing contributory scholarship it would be a different story. But, that is just what we are NOT doing. I will take a look. As I say I have the same time constraints as you (or anyone) so the articles may have to go through a process of shaping (like all the rest). Thanks for pointing this out to me. Best wishes.Dave (talk) 10:51, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cunnibertus, thanks for the email, but please understand that tertiary sources may not be used in the body of the article in Wikipedia, but only for broad summaries in the lede, if undisputed by secondary sources. Hi, personal knowledge only at present. I knew a syrian-american Amina Arraf also Amina Abbdullah Arraf from Atlanta, an aspiring writer very active in SF and Alternative History forums and lists around 2006-2008 (Alternate History and Harry Turtledove yahoogroups amongst others). She was friend with and assisted Gaming Ad Astra Games company owner Daniel Scott Palter so I checked some Ad Astra publications (I mentioned which ones in the article) I still own and got her cited there (in my versions as Amina Aref-Lazarus and Amina Arraf). I had been in contact with Mr Palter myself and so I called him on directly. He confirmed she was the same amina and that he had also been contacted by some reporters from both the USA and abroad to confirm it. You can ask directly to Mr Palter for your own confirmation. I have his telephone number but I do not know if it is against the rules to publish it on wikipedia. But the company e-mail and telephone numbers are obviously easy to obtain from the net. The article Umberto Klinger has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:57, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lanzalonga moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Lanzalonga, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your submission at Articles for creation: Lanzalonga has been accepted

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. It is commonplace for new articles to start out as stubs and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.
