[edit]Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that in this edit to Guadalajara, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 23:52, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
@Materialscientist: I was the one who added that information, I already left it, I just arranged it so as not to use so much space on the page, and I placed it in its respective section--Cumbia del Rio (talk) 00:05, 4 April 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from violating the block that has been imposed on you for copyright violation. In addition, note that your current profile is a sockpop of BrugesFR. RenaatPeeters (talk) 04:06, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
Hello Cumbia del Rio! Your additions to Europe have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Nobody (talk) 07:21, 16 May 2023 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Demographics of the world, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Southern Asia. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Archbishop´s Palace of Santiago de Chil
[edit]Hello Cumbia del Rio,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Archbishop´s Palace of Santiago de Chil for deletion, because it's a redirect that seems implausible or is an unlikely search term.
If you don't want Archbishop´s Palace of Santiago de Chil to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Request reason:
Please, I'm almost crying, give me a chance, I'll read whatever is needed to to learn from the rules, my actions have always been of good will to help Wikipedia, I just want improvements, look, I study in The university, however, for me Wikipedia is everything, is a passion, I want to edit to make my community visible with the articles that I improve to give knowledge of Latin American history and culture, also because I love to help in my life and it is the only way I can help to society is editing Wikipedia, I made an unintentional vandalism with the first account, I only plagiarized a few sentences without wanting to, then I rewrote those sentences in my own words and that might not have been enough for the judges, that was very few editions, the rest I only translated articles from Spanish Wikipedia, just to make these articles visible to the English-speaking public who sees the wikipedia, and now this, I made a sockpuppet user because it had already been about 3 months and it was impossible for me to get out of the blockage, and many users told me that I was never going to get out, I was without hope, I ask for mercy, please help. In the first block I was not given options, only one person told me to read the wikipedia rules about plagiarism, I promised to read them, then the rest of the administrators told me that even if I read them they will not unblock me, and only for some contributions that were just that, healthy contributions with the only desire to improve the articles, so after a long time I made this account, but I need someone to give me the opportunity and I will do it in their way, see the contributions now, are the same as before, they are correct, translated from Spanish wikipedia and are just educational, and doing something so good motivates me to be happy. Let's say that 95% of my edits since I joined wikipedia were translations from the Spanish and Portuguese wikipedia to this one. That is completely legal, and there is a lot of information from other wikipedias that help to have a more complete wikipedia. the remaining 5% are very short editions. To all of this I add the adequate book references. I do not infringe anything in this. I really want to edit on wikipedia, you don't know how much I want to, and I do not intend to make any more mistakes.--Cumbia del Rio (talk) 7:35 am, Today (UTC−4)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:39, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
Hello, thank you for answering, I just try to make the articles are more than all geographic and historical topics are very complete to say all the information, all translated from the Spanish and Portuguese wikipedia, which include very old images that illustrate and testify to what the article says, I add only from my part references that also testify to the subject, these references are mostly historical or theme-tourist books. I know that 3 months ago when my user was BrugesFR I plagiarized some sentences, there are not many, that talk about the topic because the other wikipedias do not finish against the whole story and omit details, that was what happened, the topics were not revulsive but were a plagiarism, that happened to me, since then I swear that I did not do it again with this account, nor will I do it again, I created this account because i felt that nobody allowed me a chance to unblock myself, I felt condemned, without expiration, and I saw that the more I wrote, it was worse, and the topics I expose are not a threat, it is not like that, they talk about historical buildings of cities, that's all, I think that what I put are very important things that have gone unnoticed for 20 years that wikipedia was founded, because there is no one interested in expanding these articles from the spanish and portuguese wikipedia, I hope you help me because sincerely for me wikipedia is more than that, is the space where I can feel good, wikipedia is my friend. I really felt guilty for making another account -and for plagiarizing- but for me wikipedia is too much, and they told me to stop editing forever and that is very sad. I will commit myself not to get involved in discussions within wikipedia, I have almost never done it, I have not committed plagiarism, it is my biggest concern, the only thing I do practically is to translate from other wikipedia, and do what I said I do, I swear I will do everything I can to not cause disruption, moreover with this account I have not done it, I have stayed away from any fight of edits, there has been none, because my edits do not seek them, only in that case of plagiarism that blocked me the first time, but I don't do it anymore. I read the article Wikipedia:Vandalism but I don't find much related to Plagiarism, however I know it is wrong because it can lead to legal sanctions to Wikipedia, because they are violating the copyrights of other websites or companies, and it is totally unacceptable and against what wikipedia is built for. I hope you will be lenient with me because I hold wikipedia in high esteem and I want it to be truthful, objective, full of knowledge, and that it respects its laws.--Cumbia del Rio (talk) 19:53, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
Decline reason:
This is bordering on a wall of text that takes a lot of time to review. You talk very little about the stated reason for the block- sock puppetry. You will need to return to your original account and request unblock there, but there is zero chance you will be unblocked without a six month wait. Wikipedia is not here to make you feel good, you will need to find something else to do for now. If you are not blocked on the other language Wikipedias, you may edit there, preferably with your original account. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 08:51, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
