Citation styles
[edit]Please be aware that many citation styles are acceptable in Wikipedia, including parenthetical referencing. --Jc3s5h (talk) 16:20, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- When a citation style has become established in an article, that style should not be disturbed unless consensus for a change is reached on the article's talk page.
- Also note that since the editors of Wikipedia are anonymous and not necessarily experts, we require that all material be verifiable, and expect that even well-established (but not well-known to a general readership) facts will be accompanied by a citation to a reliable source. This is likely to lead to a large number of citations to a small number of sources, even if that would not be the case in an article in a peer-reviewed journal. --Jc3s5h (talk) 17:55, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
The article Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- New journal that has just published its second issue. Apparently not indexed in any major database. No indications of notability. Does not meet WP:Notability (academic journals) or WP:N.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Crusio (talk) 15:37, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
