Hi Claudette. Firstly, I think that you did a good job summarizing the various elements and responsibilities of a Digital Collections Preservationinst. I like that you included a photograph showing a specific process of digital preservation. In terms of Wikipedia standards, I would suggest adding more links to the specific things you list in your article, such as digital collections and digital preservation as the general public may not be familiar with what those are. I would also suggest adding more specifics surrounding the role and responsibilities surrounding the job of digital preservation, such as metadata,types of digital assets and obselescence, and the preventive measures taken. Hi Claudette, Great definition on Digital Collections Preservationist for your Wiki page, very nicely explained. You showed a good understanding of using a Wiki page. I love that you added a photo. I’m still trying to figure out exactly how to do that. You do a nice job starting the talk on this subject. It is very fitting for our class because this topic relates nicely to conservation. This article could transition into a bigger project seamlessly with addition information on the types of institutions using this kind of professional.
