Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer be able to have them marked as minor by default. For more information on what a minor edit is, see WP:MINOR or feel to get in touch.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 22:10, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Szia!

Csak egy rövid megjegyzés Omen1229 vitalapja (pontosabban ezen mondatod "You may also try to insult others with lies but we don't really care, all of those stuff will be removed with time.") kapcsán: ilyet már csak taktikai okokból se illik mondani (még akkor se, ha tényleg így van, illetve akkor főleg nem). -- CoolKoon (talk) 23:53, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please hold your conversations in English? Especially in matters where you seem to be discussing potential editing disputes with editors from other nationalities, having conversations in languages that are inaccessible to most others is poor style. Thank you, – Fut.Perf. 09:11, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, there are times when I try to. But given the example above it doesn't make much difference whether I keep my discussions in English or use Hungarian (since either way they seem to find their way to ANI), don't you think? As for the discussions regarding potential editing disputes, Omen1229's been topic banned, so there doesn't seem to be much point in "conspiring" against him, is there? And besides, those "editors from other nationalities" seem to do the same every once in a while too. -- CoolKoon (talk) 13:04, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the argument [1] I genuinely don`t understand it. Please explain. Adrian (talk) 18:30, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

About the folklore & landscape pictures

The article doesn't talks about the present-day Hungarian Republic or Hungarian state (or its modern state-borders), but it talks about an ethnic group, the Hungarians. Forexample many minorities live between the borders of modern Hungarian state (Germans Serbs Slovaks Croatians etc..), but this article is about Hungarian people as ethnic group. The origin of buildings in modern Romania modern Slovakia etc.. are not relates to the culture of Slovak people, Serbian or Romanian (Vlach) people (which refer to etchnic groups) These medieval catholic Romanesque Gothic and Renaissance buildings are styles of the Western (catholic - protestant) World, and they aren't related to the culture Orthodox Romanian or Serbian people too... Keep in mind: Just because the borders were changed after the WW I in 1920, the old history and the old past (the cultural history or the history of these medieval and early modern buildings) did not changed.--Relevater (talk) 13:52, 26 February 2013 (UTC)--Relevater (talk) 13:56, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hungarian people

[edit]

I hope you don`t mind contacting you here because the talk page is already overcrowded.

You reverted me and stated that the Croats are the same example. Please tell me that you notice the difference between [[2]] and [[3]] ?

  • Croats have 1 building image and 2 interior images of buildings, all from Croatia.

If you find a valid example, please let me know.

You still think this is a valid example or you are just trying to start an edit war? Adrian (talk) 23:36, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

And this [[File:Dubra.JPG|right|thumb|The Walls of Dubrovnik As I said, they're are not us.
Well, there are lots of other articles which aren't related to Hungarians, maybe you could improve those. Therefore your POV won't violate the main pillar of Wikipedia. And I would prefer the article's talk page regarding this in the future. Csendesmark (talk) 00:01, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You do understand that Dubrovnik is in Croatia? Ok, and that is 2 buildings? Can we compare to the gallery at the Hungarian people?
Please let me edit articles I wish. Adrian (talk) 00:09, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please check the talk page, [4], looks like this is against the WP:IG beside the practice elsewhere on the project that I was pointing out. Please continue the discussion there if you wish to participate. Adrian (talk) 00:27, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I suggest you to read Wikipedia:Minor edit#When not to mark an edit as a minor edit. I see several instances in your contributions which are not in compliance with the recommendations, most obviously [5]. Regards, Nemo 22:24, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Fundamental rights after 2010 elections
