Gun violence

Hi. Thanks for your contribution to the gun violence article. I made a few edits to your additions to the article. Keep in mind that Wikipedia articles are only supposed to summarize what reliable sources say about a topic - they aren't supposed to include opinions or emotional language - even though the killing of Black people by the police seems senseless, this isn't something that we can say in Wikipedia's voice. It would have to be an attributed opinion.

Also bear in mind that this article is meant to describe gun violence around the world. If you're talking about the US in particular, you need to say so. And try to present things broadly - the US isn't the whole world, and the article shouldn't be written as if it is. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:21, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
