Your username

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "TronResearch", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Information icon Hello, CryptoResearcher1413. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Justin Sun, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.

Could ye kindly let us know if ye've been contacted off or on Wiki to make edits to the Justin Sun article, just so we're all above board here? I'm havin' a good look at the article and the editors, and I’ve noticed most of 'em either already mention a conflict of interest on their userpage, are IPs or have been blocked for bein' socks. It looks like ye might have a bit of a COI yerself, lad. Best we all follow the guidelines an’ keep things neutral, eh? Let’s make sure we’re all on the same page when it comes to fairness. Please stop editing on your conflicted topics

[edit]

Cryptocurrency is a heavily sanctioned editing area - see WP:GS/Crypto. Multiple editors have considered your editing on your declared COI subjects, Justin Sun and TRON, are too promotional. Please keep editing on these topics to the talk pages.

Please review this standard cryptocurrency notice:

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

If you continue editing in this manner, you risk a topic ban from anything relating to cryptocurrency (broadly construed) at the least.
