Irish names

[edit]

Please stop removing these. Consensus is that they be included, see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Ireland-related articles). Also Irish is a recognised minority and regional language in the United Kingdom see this link. In actuality, English has no official status in Northern Ireland. European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages
English is and always will be the principal language of Northern Ireland being an integral part of the United Kingdom, it is not a minority language and therefore requires no speacial obligation.
However, the United Kingdom declares, in accordance with Article 2, paragraph 1 of the Charter that it recognises that Scots and Ulster Scots meet the Charter's definition of a regional or minority language for the purposes of Part II of the Charter. --78.33.101.58 (talk) 01:03, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
