INSTRUCTOR COMMENT

[edit]

Can you please transfer your text into this sandbox. I can't provide you with comments unless you put it in the sandbox folder. What you have done seems to be a solid start and I do like your use of subheadings to try and keep things clear and easy to see so that you can emphasize the different parts of the petroleum system. Probably a map would be helpful and I would think about adding a stratigraphic table so that we can see the names of the formations, the depositional ages and main sediment types. I'm sure you're aware of the fact that there are copyright issues about images. I would definitely try and include some more detail about the various formations that comprise the petroleum system. This does not have to be an enormous contribution but it does have to provide something beyond generalities Pclift (talk) 14:38, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Feedback - Cade Gulledge

[edit]

I really like how you've divided up your headings and sub-headings -- makes everything easy to follow and keeps it relevant. Very solid summary of Geologic History. I see that you've got sections for reservoirs/traps/sources, and it looks like you plan on adding more to these sections. Looks like you're on the right track in developing these sections, so my only feedback would be to maintain relevance and include specific properties/diagrams while doing so.

For example, When defining reservoirs, it might be most effective to identify the components of each individual reservoir by:

Reservoir One: Source, Reservoir Characteristics (por, perm, height, area, etc.), Traps, Estimated Reserves, Wells

Reservoir Two: [Listed Components above for Reservoir Two]

And so on.

Possibly including cross-section of each reservoir below could be quite helpful.

All around, very solid progress.
