- I appreciate it. Thanks for the welcome! I'm not trying to stir up any trouble, I do however think my edits work to clarify ambiguous or misleading information. There's still quite a bit about Wiki editing I need to learn. If I need some help I will definitely reach out! CriticalBread14 (talk) 15:32, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
- Love to hear it! I have no doubt you were making your edits in good faith, we just happen to disagree on some of the details. I've opened a discussion on the article's talk page that you might want to weigh in on. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 16:04, 30 May 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Texas Christian University have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Please assure that your entire edit is properly sourced. Other editors will not pick through the edit to find the sourced and unsourced content. Thanks for your understanding. - I am working to improve the page, not just experimenting. Another editor is going in and removing pieces just for funsies, I am working to add sources, but I cannot do it all at once. Please allow me a little time to clean up the article. CriticalBread14 (talk) 14:20, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- That is to say, much of the info does actually have a source, it is just not cited, so instead of just removing everything that is uncited, I will work to find the sources and clean up where I can. CriticalBread14 (talk) 14:24, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
With this edit at Texas Christian University you added that "Skiff x 360" the following: "The weekly publication is published on Thursdays.". What was your source to support this? Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 15:32, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Was reverting some other changes and inadvertently re added that back in. Again, please have patience, I am a new editor. CriticalBread14 (talk) 15:58, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- I implore you to have more patience. Please do not do any extraneous removal of content that I intend to source later. Or at least make a talk page in the article about what you think should be removed. CriticalBread14 (talk) 16:02, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Any statement without a source is extremely vulnerable to getting removed. It is not accepted practice to add content intending to source it later. Nobody knows whether you intend to add sources later, or if they did, whether or not you would actually follow up. The way to procede is to locate a source for the content you wish to add first, then add it with the content at the same time. Your experience here will be much happier. signed, Willondon (talk) 16:09, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- It still seems hasty to summarily remove content that is unsourced instead of at least doing minimal searching for a source before removing it. The things being removed *do* have sources, they are just uncited. CriticalBread14 (talk) 16:29, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- There is a concept outlined at WP:BURDEN, explaining that the burden for providing sources lies on the person wishing to add it. It would be unfair and unworkable if editors could just add stuff and leave others to do the hard work. signed, Willondon (talk) 17:18, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Well, in this particular case, it is a burden I have indicated that I am willing to take on, despite the fact that I did not add the original content. I’m going to add it all back later anyway with sources cited. CriticalBread14 (talk) 17:42, 31 May 2024 (UTC)

An easy fix is by using your sandbox for draft edits. When the edit is ready, just cut and paste. Magnolia677 (talk) 18:08, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
