The wording of this Userbox was changed from "This user identifies as homosexual" to the current "This user identifies as gay man". I identify as a homosexual and used the box on my profile page for several years, but I am not "a man" ... I am female. It was a bad idea to ignore the existence of the second half of the equation — and a bad idea to not let those who were using the box know of the intent to change the wording.
