Hello

Cool, cool. Feel free to take a look, it could have some lingering problems, who knows, and thanks for the congrats. Right now I am working on Black Hawk War (my next eventual FAC--these things can take awhile to get ready) and its related articles, most of which are linked from the main article. So far I have 5 GAs out of my work and a sixth awaiting review. My goal is to bring Black Hawk War to FA and all the battle and massacre and articles of that vein to GA, then take the whole thing to featured topic. Anyway, things are well. Hey, today I do have a specific request. A GA reviewer has suggested that Battle of Wisconsin Heights be edited for grammar and flow. I copy edited it last night, before the comment, so I fear that as the author my eyes aren't the best ones for the job. If you have the time your assistance would be greatly appreciated. That's cool, I looked at the diff between my last edit and yours, it all looks pretty good to me, nothing stood out as unreasonable as far as changes, nice work so far, you're an animal. As I am making the changes here are a couple comments.

• I left a hidden comment about "real" vs. "natural", the problem is that "real" applies more specifically in the industry to trees sold that can be replanted for reuse in subsequent years. Is non-artificial better you think? If so, that change will be fine.
• Shear vs. shorn: I think both are acceptable, at least according to Webster's, is there a preference? Webster's seems to possibly indicate British English is shorn? Maybe?

That's it, everything else is changed. Check out the new section heading for "Status". Better?

Quick request

A quick and fairly random request: I'm trying to finalise Brabham BT19 for FAC. A couple of other WP:F1 editors have commented that the rather full explanation of what Formula One is in the first para of the main text (section heading 'Concept') seems out of place. I'm looking for a couple of non-F1 fan editors to give me another point of view and thought of you since we recently crossed paths at Henri Toivonen and on the question of the meaning of 'Old nail'. Grateful if you could have a quick look. The sentence in question is 'Formula One is the highest form of single-seater racing defined by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), motor sport's world governing body.'. Help needed not of the urgent variety

Hi there -- first, thanks for proof-reading the Shareef Abdur-Rahim article. Well, I'm a member of the NBA Wikiproject and while we've got a bunch of FAs and GAs, some of them could do with some further copyediting. If you're free/interested, the Toronto Raptors (an FA) and the Tim Duncan (an FAC) articles in particular could do with some copyediting. It's long ago

Sir, I nominated the article Ayyavazhi for to be copy-edited in the january of this year. And now it is there for more than seven months still didn't get done. So please don't make delay of or don't make it to remain as it is. I, though can write english, can't make it great and grammatically perfect. So pls help; I was in a move to nominate it for a FA candidate. So one again pls help and also if can pls make some others too to know aboaut it and to help. Yes, maybe translating the BL article would be a good idea. If we find this material interesting then maybe other people will as well. Perhaps the Volkswagen stuff is also worth whiile? GA noms

I have attempted to address your comments on Battle of Apple River Fort and Battle of Horseshoe Bend (1832). I think furore must be British English, I am not sure I recognize it. There are some comments on Applr River Fort, I think there may still be some outstanding issues there, please do take a look if you have time. If the first section rewording is okay, then Horseshoe Bend should be okay. Take a look there too, though, if you have time. I further reworded the "Background" sections, as I said, they still did not feel right to me. If you could take a look again, to make sure I didn't screw it up, it would be appreciated. Thanks for the message you just sent. I can probably supply you with as much matertial as you want! There really is a lot of good opera and music material on the German Wiki. (For example there is a big job available on the Wiener Staatsoper article which is only one third of the length of the German one [2].) But maybe it's best if we build the work around your special interests? For example we could concentrate on a place or a period. We could do followup works on say Kienzl's operas or whatever. Great material. I have done some editing and I have some questions; 1. I don't understand the references to a quarrel with Grabbe in the 3rd para. Any ideas? 2.
