Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sally Field, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

License tagging for File:The New Adventures of Old Christine title card.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:The New Adventures of Old Christine title card.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:05, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

DYK for Mary Alice Young

On 18 September 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Mary Alice Young, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Sheryl Lee was originally given the role of Mary Alice Young on the ABC television series Desperate Housewives, but the producers decided to replace her with Brenda Strong? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Mary Alice Young. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Mary Alice Young), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Laverne & Shirley, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Burbank (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Um. That isn't original research. It literally says in both articles that those were the time frames the albums were recorded. Excuse me for not copying the source that backs the information up, since they are already sourced in the article. Don't come to my talk page and lecture me about original research. Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Paula Abdul, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Kishfan (talk) 21:36, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

Do you know anything about editing articles on Wikipedia, or do you just go around adding tags to articles you think don't meet what you think are Wikipedia's standards? Paula Abdul is not written from a fan's point of view; I've literally modeled it off of how other articles about celebrities are written; I'm not new. I've been responsible for several articles being promoted to Good Article status. I know a thing or two about how this website works. The article was a complete mess before and I added more than a few verifiable new sources to the article. Instead of adding tags to the article and then coming here and lecturing me, why don't you contribute something productive to the editing of the article instead of coming in and criticizing the improvements I've made? Would you prefer if I put the article back to the unsourced, unorganized mess it was before? Let me know. Creativity97 18:41, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
Listen Creativity97, you have been blocked previously because of your actions and if you are a fan please feel free to open a fan site for the singer and do remember Wikipedia is not kind of a place where you start adding your ideas. Please read WP:ASSERT. The songs you have mentioned are all promotional stunts and might be deleted according to deletion policy. Please keep in mind that your are about to be blocked as per removing maintenance templates. Why don't you take some time off and please read impartiality of tone and undue weight, peacocking, and overuse of quotes. This is high time some one has to tell you about the basic policies and if you have some issue, discuss it on article's talk page.-Kishfan (talk) 20:56, 23 June 2018 (UTC)
