I do think long time non-admin editors should develop ways of keeping the admins in line. Even medieval England had a House of Commons, and the current life tenure of admins makes the admin base more like the House of Lords than they'd care to admit. This is not the first time I've got the impression that the admin base are quite insecure, there seems to be this "besieged" culture. I suspect that they bully each other. --Surturz (talk) 09:59, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
- Indeed, wheel waring is a Big Deal, on the one hand I understand it, ~1000 admins trying to keep the fifth most popular website on the planet (that anyone can edit) clean can be quite a task, and they don't need to be fighting each other. On the other hand, trying to censor active, useful contributors seems to be counterproductive. Crazynas t 19:06, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
