Regarding your edits at Sand Creek massacre, it is considered a better approach to make a series of smaller edits rather than hitting a lot of different places in the article at one time. This allows other editors a better chance to follow your changes and respond to them. I would suggest that you find a better word than "natives" to use , late in your changes. Basically, the word "natives" was used by imperialists all over the world to describe the local inhabitants of some place that they had taken over. It is now considered to be borderline racist. In any case welcome to wikipedia. If you put something on your user page then your user name will appear as a blue link rather than a red one. This is considered a good thing, we can discuss why if you wish. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 17:16, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lots of Native Americans / American Indians / Indigenous people in the Americas self-identify as "Natives." :) - CorbieV 18:19, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
With a capital "N" though - tricky context. Montanabw(talk) 23:13, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
