[edit]

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Essex PR. Thank you. @Dreamy Jazz:@TonyBallioni:

Hi Dreamy Jazz and TonyBallioni,

I can understand your concern but can you please let me know why you have suspected me of sock puppetry? I would really appreciate your answer on this. It would help me to improve my activity on Wikipedia since I am new on the platform.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am not sure why my editing account is blocked and I would like to know more about it. Is there something that I edited which has violated Wikipedia's policy? I would like to know more about it as a point of improvement. Moreover, this is my account and I do not have any other account on Wikipedia, which is used for editing. Hence, the allegation for sock puppetry is false. This kind of ban is only discourgaing new comers like me to WIkipedia who are trying to be future Editors on the platform. Cheers!

Decline reason:

Behavioural and/or technical evidence strongly suggests that this account is a sockpuppet. Simple denial is not considered a sufficient reason to unblock the account. In order to be unblocked, you will need to convince the reviewing administrator that there is a better explanation for this apparent connection than the abuse of multiple accounts. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • Sorry, I meant to give you the template above, but the script didn't. Since you appeared to be denying being the same person, I ran a check on this account and you are editing from two IP addresses that are shared by the other two accounts listed above, and you had significant overlap with them. I'm willing to view this as a misunderstanding of Wikipedias purpose, but pretending that you have no relation to the other accounts simply isn't true. This isn't a CU block when I made it, and I'm not going to change it to one, so any admin can review.
I'll ping Beeblebrox since he was the one who placed the original hard block in case he wants to comment. The biggest concern I have with your unblock request right now is that you clearly aren't being 100% truthful with us. I'll also note for other admins that my general view is that any new user who knows how to appeal to WP:BITE either directly or implicitly in an unblock request likely has been around before. @TonyBallioni: Appreciate your reply. I am not sure how should I reply to your comment because I do not think saying anything would change your mind apart from investigating my activity on the platform to uncover the truth. All I can say for the moment that I am using the account to edit pages on science and technology. I would look forward to keep editing such articles as somehow I am finding a new joy in gathering knowledge as well as improving it. Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by CrazyJoger (talkcontribs) 02:23, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You could explain how you were on multiple IPs with the accounts listed in the SPI as a starting point. TonyBallioni (talk) 03:52, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@TonyBallioni: Not sure about the IP thingy. I don't know what to say but all I can say as I have already mentioned that this account is only used by me, an individual, and not used for sock-puppetry. I am here to be a Wikipedian just like you and would appreciate if I am allowed to edit/create articles on science and technology. If not, then all I can say that Wikipedia lost a new budding editor, but I guess it is already full of so many Wikipedians who are mean to newcomers that who cares about the newbies. Anyhow, Cheers!
