Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Craig Davidson 2. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Galobtter (pingó mió) 03:07, 29 September 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Wasted: Tales of a GenX Drunk, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Sagecandor (talk) 03:10, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Wasted: Tales of a GenX Drunk. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Sagecandor (talk) 04:16, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
Citations/ Refs
[edit]Please inform me of the best way to address your concern. I’m Happy to accommodate whatever I need to. I reviewed citation guidelines and can’t really find an answer. I am Craig Davidson and was the designer of this book.
Please advise. Craig Davidson 2 (talk) 04:19, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
- Please review the WP:COI notice I gave above. You should not be inserting material that is promoting yourself. And as I said "Unless the design was of specific importance does not need to be included" Galobtter (pingó mió) 04:21, 29 September 2018 (UTC)

[edit]How do I meet guidelines? please explain how I source my edit. I’m adding that specific content because I am that person.
I’m happy to follow guidelines. I just didn’t know how to do it.
Thank you. Craig Davidson 2 (talk) 04:22, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
