Clearing an autoblock
Due to the nature of the block applied, we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details, there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:
- If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
- Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
- If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
- Try to edit the Sandbox.
- If you are able to edit the sandbox, you are not blocked from editing. Either the autoblock on your IP address has already expired, or you weren't blocked in the first place. Either way, you can resume editing.
- If you are still blocked, follow the directions below:
- Copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "Unblock request" section.
- Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page, and click save.
- If you cannot edit your own talk page, use the Unblock Ticket Request System to make your request.
- There's nothing I can do unless you post the exact text you receive when you try to edit a page. Without that, it is impossible to effect and unblock. Thanks. ➨ ЯEDVERS 14:36, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

AfD vs Speedy Deletion
[edit]Craig, thanks for helping out on New Page patrol. For your info, take a look at WP:CSD. There's a pair of articles that you've tagged for Articles for Deletion that would be better served as Speedy Deletions, namely A7. Thanks again! RasputinAXP c 18:55, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the help. I will try and remember to do so in future. Thanks again. Craig451 12:15, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

- User:Cicero Dog please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes; this will automatically produce your name and the date. Please refer to here. Craig451 15:19, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- as you will clrearly see i have done this on several occasions predating to your somewhat patronising reminder. we all make mistakes....unless we are robots.... and i know i didn't sign.... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cicero Dog (talk • contribs) .
- I am not saying you shouldn't have lapses in concentration - or suggesting you don't know how to sign comments - the aim of my "somewhat patronising reminder" was to remind, not somewhat patronise. Thanks. Craig451 09:03, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- perhaps you should try to be more curteous to avoid confusion and misunderstandings.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cicero Dog (talk • contribs) .
- I was attempting to be courteous but I fail to see how reminding a user to sign posts on a talk page is at all confusing or uncivil. It was intended as a reminder of Wikipedia policy to avoid me having to drag up page history to see who has added comments which I felt were somewhat incoherent and irrelevant to the discussion undertaken. Also please remember this as you do not seem to be signing comments. Thanks Craig451 21:51, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit]stop this quest against the poem. i am not threatening you; i am simply telling you the poem is koshur. Cicero Dog 21:28, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
- Please see the article's talk page and the article's entry on the Articles for deletion page if you wish to discuss the poem. Thanks. Craig451 12:14, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

- Interesting. A user citing assume good faith as a defense when reminded of WP:CIVIL. Back on topic of "Dylan" and "my quest against the poem" I would again refer you here if you wish to discuss the poem - if not please start a new topic so I know what I am being talked to - or complained at - about. Thanks Craig451 09:03, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- This is a talk page on which we can discuss anything...including the poem. And i do not understand why you are asking me to create a new topic heading to continue the same topic...it makes no sense. Cicero Dog 19:09, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- As there seems to be no direct link between "loyalty and friends who are frustrated poets" and this and certainly no link between the poem throwing assume good faith at a person who is merely reminding you to follow WP:CIVIL. If you wish to reprimand Ciraric for supposedly uncivil reminders of WP:CIVIL then please do so at his talk page as it is a more suitable forum for such discussions. Please see here. Thanks Craig451 21:51, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for the notice. I appreciate the nicety of it. If you would, could you please give any ideas/oppinions on The Sub Wars on my talk page. I would appreciate all the help I could get. Maybe you could get some other users in on it too and we could remake the artical.--07holsombd 16:57, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

New Page Patrol survey
[edit]
New page patrol – Survey Invitation Hello Craig451! The WMF is currently developing new tools to make new page patrolling much easier. Whether you have patrolled many pages or only a few, we now need to know about your experience. The survey takes only 6 minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist us in analyzing the results of the survey; the WMF will not use the information to identify you.
Please click HERE to take part. You are receiving this invitation because you have patrolled new pages. For more information, please see NPP Survey |
New deal for page patrollers
[edit]Hi Craig451,
In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
