Hi, I don't see that you did anything wrong. The user placed a spam link, and you removed it. He also created an article about that company, which I tagged for deletion. Nothing you did affected the deletion of the article. Also, I tagged his article for deletion, not his talk page. Only in very rare circumstances will a talk page get deleted. In the future, feel free to add warnings; in this case, the user has since been blocked indefinitely (for vandalism, among other things), so I wouldn't worry to much.
