Hi there Correctindia, and welcome to Wikipedia. I just want to let you know that I have undone many of your edits at Birbal Jha because they were extremely promotional in tone. Wikipedia must have a neutral point of view, and this means not writing glowing reports of people in their articles. Thanks, Nolelover Talk·Contribs 23:05, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
- Please stop continuesly and repeadely adding unnecessary and promotional content.Otherwise might you get editwarning.Thanks.Justice007 (talk) 19:58, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
- please do more research on Birbal Jha before you edit and remove.correctindia
- Correctindia, please stop edit warring, and note that you don't fully understand all of Wikipedia's rules so some of your edits are messing up the page's code. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 20:21, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
- I do not know many rules of the wikipedia but the editing I have done is well- researched and sourced. If my editing is deleted every time I will duck out of editing the wikipedia.correctindia
- As I said above, many of your edits have been very promotional, and that is not allowed on Wikipedia. Please discuss anything you want to add, if it get reverted. Nolelover Talk·Contribs 20:28, 29 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:British Lingua. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Bihari people
[edit]Please read WP:COI and stop adding that individual to the Bihari people page. There are already plenty of photos on that page. Wikipedia is not a promotional tool. OhNoitsJamie Talk 16:50, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Correctindia. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Birbal Jha, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies. Note that Wikipedia's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 19:45, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
