Adding your own commentary
[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:40, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- I linked the Wikipedia article Lineal_descendant and gave the definition from said article. Are you saying Wikipedia's Lineal_descendant article is original research? I used the definitions from the Wikipedia Lineal_descendant and Collateral_(kinship) articles to avoid "novel synthesis." So you are saying I need to link an article AND cite it, too? I'll do that if you really want, but it seems redundant. Coronel Tejano (talk) 17:27, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
